I’ve wanted to try Emilio Finatti Sicilian Pizza for a long time, but I’m hardly ever in White Rock, and when I’m in White Rock I’m usually right along the water. Emilio Finatti is a small pizza shop away from the pier, but they serve awesome pizza.
This week’s Bellingham adventure brought us to La Fiamma Wood Fire Pizza in downtown Beillingham. A popular pizza joint, with nice crispy wood oven pizzas.
Lombardi’s is one of the two pizza places I wanted to try in NY. Grimaldi’s was the other restaurant, but it had a 2 hour wait when we visited. I had to try some famous NY pizza before I left.
Whenever we are in Seattle visiting our friend, we always try to put Serious Pie on our list of places to eat. It’s been a few years, and we’ve yet to go because it’s always busy. Last night we were invited to the Grand Opening of the first Famoso Pizzeria in BC. They started in 2005 with many locations in Edmonton and Calgary. Beipas, myself, and Erin Gee were given a tour of the restaurant by the founder, Justin. He told us about his trip to Italy, and how it inspired him to start Famoso.
After another long day of SCUBA Diving, my uncle wanted to visit Shakey’s Pizza Parlor. It’s been a long time since his last visit, but it’s somewhere he and my aunt always went to on dates, so he wanted to come back and reminisce.

Royal Oak pizza has been around for a long time and I remember my mom ordering take out pizza and lasagnas from there when I was a kid. I have been wanting to go to Steveston Pizza for a long long time. The one time I got myself out to Steveston, they were closed. This time I finally made it!
