Now I’ve finally been to each of the Hapa Izakaya locations in Vancouver. Although there isn’t a skytrain near by in Kitsilano, it’s still a pretty popular location. Walking in, it seemed like it was actually fairly popular with families. We saw 2-3 families (with kids) leaving while we were waiting for our table.
I spent the last week food guiding a friend from Orange County, and Kitsilano Daily Kitchen was her top choice of restaurants to visit in Vancouver. This was the one and only dine out Vancouver restaurants I visited this year.

After a decent Dine Out at Baru, I decided to also grab a shawarma plate across the street from Mac Falafel. Why? Because I’m stupid. I went in and ordered a chicken shawarma plate for $6. Really cheap price.

Siegel’s Bagels sells authentic Montreal Style Bagels. There was an in house wood burning oven to baked the bagels, and there were more than 10 flavors of bagels to choose from.
Trattoria Italian Kitchen has $10 pastas every Tuesday! Yes, every Tuesday Trattoria has $10 pasta specials, so my friends and I took advantage of this deal and went to try out this Italian kitchen.
Going into Sophie’s Cosmic Cafe is like going into those diners in the movies. It’s got a really nostalgic atmosphere with 1950s, 1960s furniture and vintage collectibles. It’s a pretty cool place to dine in.
I don’t eat fast food burgers, but gourmet burgers, sign me up! Romer’s Burger Bar is a place to go to indulge and leave your fat conscious at home. I first hear about this place from Sherman, and he said the burgers were good, but the donuts were even better. In face, all I remembered him saying about this place was ‘donuts! donuts! omg those donuts!’ Burgers and donuts, let’s do it!
