This place sucks. Yes it really does.
A few months ago I walked into this restaurant with a few friends for dinner because we were in the area and the place looks promising from the outside. We got seated pretty quickly at the patio, a waitress came and took our drinks order, gave us our menu and left. The menu wasn’t big, and when I saw Fish Tacos I knew I just had to try it. Ok, I’m ready to order, where’s my water, and where is the waitress? Oh she’s over there chatting with other customers. Another 5 minutes gone, where is she? She’s walking around the patio. Ok I’ll just sit here and stare at her. When I finally made eye contact with her, she had the look of ‘Oh right, your drinks’ on her face, and turned around and left. What the.. the restaurant isn’t even busy!
5 minutes later, she finally brought us our water and iced teas. We ordered right away in case she tries to disappear again. We ordered fish tacos, a burger, a lamb spinach and couscous salad, an emperor’s bowl, and fries to start. The fries came first, and it was pretty good. There were 3 types of fries and they each came with a dipping sauce. The presentation is pretty, and it tasted good. The rest of the food’s presentation were pretty too, but the taste was brutally bad. The fish tacos were epic fails. It was so gross. Every ingredient in the fish taco did not go together at all. For some reason they put tortilla chips as one of the toppings on the tacos, what the hell? One order came with 3 tacos, I barely ate 2. There goes my $16 dollars. Disgusting.
My friend didn’t seem to enjoy their food either. The service was crap, the waitress’s attitude stinks. This is supposed to be a trendy restaurant, but the place just seemed really pretentious to me. I just checked their menu online, and guess what, 2 out of 4 of the dishes we ordered are gone, and they changed the recipe for their fish tacos. Too bad, 1 bad experience is enough for me.
1.5 stars for the fries.

I’ll just add onto this for my review. The Lamb Couscous salad was a disappointment because there was hardly any couscous. It was just a garnish for the spinach salad. It was crispy, but definitely not I was expecting. The food was OK. And yah, the 3 different fries were good. But other than that.. crappy service. I’d give 2.5/5 for me.
