Steveston Pizza

I have been wanting to go to Steveston Pizza for a long long time. The one time I got myself out to Steveston, they were closed. This time I finally made it!

I am going straight to the point, these are one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Kid and I shared a petite 5th Element pizza and a C1 pizza (C1 only comes in medium).

The 5th element was an awesome vegetarian pizza. It had a load of mushrooms, tomatoes, fresh basil, mozzarella, and best of all thin sesame crust. I think there were 3 types of mushrooms, each bite I’d get a mouth full of mushrooms and they were all really flavorful.

There was a big shock when I opened the box of the C1 pizza. I was so surprised by the size of the pizza. The the menu it says the C1 pizza has tiger prawns and crab meat, leeks, tomato and fennel salsa. In the box, it was a pile of super jumbo shrimp on top of a pile of jumbo shrimps. It looked so crazy!

If you love shrimp, C1 is the pizza for you. The pizza was so messy to eat but so tasty. Each slice of pizza has at least 3 pieces of shrimp on top, together the fresh basil and the melting cheese and the thin crispy crust, it was so amazing. There was a load of shrimp but the crab meat was less noticeable.

The gourmet pizzas were also slightly pricey, our 2 pizzas came out to $47. Even with the steep price, I still loved the pizzas. Everything was super fresh tasting. It totally lived up to my expectations. The tiny tiny shop makes a lot of different pizzas, there are still a few I want to try.

  • hands down best pizza i’ve ever had so far! amazingly good!

  • They are pretty good! We went in September and we had one with shrimp too, but I can’t remember the name of it. I counted, and it had 25 jumbo shrimp on it! The only thing I think they could do to improve the place is get a wood burning oven for a little extra smoky flavour.
