Seafood chowder is awesome. Seafood chowder in a bread bowl is even awesomer.
My friends and I spent new years eve at wheel‘s in Seattle. We spend the last day of 2010 grocery shopping and I remembered that weekend was unusually cold so we stopped by Pike Place Chowder to get some warm soup.
We tried the original Clam chowder, and Smoked Chowder.
The clam chowder was really creamy, flavorful, not overly salty, and it was packed with ingredients. It was really yummy. I loved this chowder ever since I tried it a few years ago, and it never disappoints.
The smoked chowder was just as nice as the clam chowder, added a really distinct and nice smokey flavor.
I think it’s pretty safe to say that they have one of the best chowders in Seattle or even Vancouver. The ingredients were super fresh, it was just so wicked with sour dough bread bowl. A must stop by shop in Seattle.
