While trying to rent paddle boards in Maui, the shop guy recommended Paia Fish Market in Paia for food. We did end up stopping by this restaurant after our trip to the bamboo forest for a late lunch.
This place is located in the Paia’s town center, a very touristy spot. Except for Dee, we each ordered a fish sandwich with the fish of our choice. For about $10 per sandwich, the portion of the fish filet was quite generous. I ordered a snapper sandwich, and while the fish was quite fresh, it was a bit over done and dry. There were local fish options such as Ono and Mahi; the ono was tastier than the snapper I got.
This was a very casual place that was inexpensive. A good spot to stop by for local seafood in Maui.
