I saw Jerusalem Grill when I was having a meal at Full Ramen probably a year ago. I can’t believe it took me a while to actually go and try their food. I’ve heard good things about them. This time, we were a bit lazy to go out, so we ordered take out. I’m sure the meals are better at the restaurant. After giving it a try, I will go back and eat there. For the take out portions they seemed a bit pricey, but after looking at what was included and the quality, I’d happily pay it.
I ordered the Chicken Shawarma Platter. The portion didn’t look huge, but it was a decent amount. And they had everything that I would want in a Shawarma Platter. They had plenty of chicken and rice, and they also had hummus, and taboulleh which they don’t often have. And they gave a good amount. They even included the pita that they line the bottom of the rice pot with which is nice and crispy and flavourful. There were also pickled vegetables and pita bread. The taboulleh was nice and fresh, and the chicken was moist, with flavourful rice. I would get it again easily.
Grilled Chicken Sheesh Tawook also has the same sides, but with nice grilled chicken skewers.
Grilled Boneless Chicken Breast Fillet came with the same sides and the chicken was tender and packed with flavour.
