HUB Restaurant & Creamery, Tucson, Arizona

While my friend was stuck in a day long conference in Tucson, I had a rather relaxing day hanging by the pool. Since her conference ends at 8, we needed a restaurant that opens late night. A quick search on the web, we found Hub Restaurant & Creamery.

To my surprise, we ordered quite a lot of food. We wanted some greens, so we got the roasted corn and avocado salad. The greens were nice and crunchy, really nice with sweet roasted corn.

The lobster roll was what caught me eye. I’ve never had a ‘real’ lobster roll, and that’s why I ordered it. To my surprise, it had a lot of lobster. It was more like a lobster salad sandwich because the lobster was chilled. I was expecting a warm buttery lobster roll that I always see on TV, but this was not too bad.

Onto some comfort food. We ordered the Bacon Mac & Cheese. The portion may look small, but this was full of cheesy gooey goodness. Super creamy, really tasty and hits the spot.

When’s the last time I had tater tots? I have no idea, so why not order some. The Prime Fries is prime rib, caramelized onions, cheese sauce on fries, but you can also substitute the fries with tater tots like we did. This was such a guilty pleasure. Crispy tater tots, with super tender prime rib meat and sweet caramelized onions was so delicious.  The cheese sauce at the bottom was super creamy too.

We had a lot of food for sure, and since it opens until midnight it was nice that we could just leisurely enjoy our dinner here.
