Donair King
We sort of came to Donair King because it was the first donair place we saw walking down Davie street. This restaurant is located right by Celebrities night club with the sign: Best donairs in the city.
It’s been a while since I had a donair or shawarma plate, so when I got the Chicken Plate, it was looking pretty good to me. The plate came with fresh cucumbers, tomato, tabouleh, tahini, tumeric rice and a wrap. The some parts of the chicken were still moist but had some dry ends, and overall the chicken plate was pretty average.
Two of us got the falafel plate which also came with the same toppings as the chicken plate minus the rice. The 3 falafels that was on the plate were looking pretty dry inside and out. It’s not the best item of choice here.
This place was good enough for us to grab a quick bite, but there are other choices on Davie street for sure.
