After a day of snowboarding at cypress mountain, we were looking forward to having a late lunch at Burger Heaven in New Westminster. At 2pm on a Saturday the small burger restaurant was packed to our surprise. We needed to wait 20 minutes for a table for 3, so we decided to get take out instead.
I ordered a The works burger, which had cheddar, mozzarella, bacon & mushrooms and dill pickles. This was a really big burger, and I loved it from the first bite to the last. The patty was really juicy. Everything worked for me from the saltiness of the bacon, and the sourness of the pickle. If you are craving for a real burger, this burger will take care of you.
To my surprise, my friends didn’t enjoy theirs burgers as much as I did with mine. They had the BBQ Cheddar, Bacon & Mushroom Burger and the Heaven Sent Grilled Chicken Burger. Both said they were good, but nothing special.
The burgers ranges around $12-$15, you can order the burgers with salad or their famous and tasty potato wedges. Some of their specialty burgers can go up to $20.
The restaurant is small, but kind of short staffed. Our take out order didn’t really make any difference in getting our food faster, because we waited about 35 minutes for our order. 35 minutes later, the restaurant was still packed, clearly a very popular burger joint in New Westminister. I was quite impatient when waiting for our food, but the tasty burger sort of made up for it.
