Burger Burger

I headed to New Westminister because I was craving for tacos at Taqueria Playa Tropical. This mexican place is usually pretty quiet, but for some reason it was packed on the day I went. Starving and not willing to wait, I decided to walk over to its next door food joint, Burger Burger to get some… burgers.

This place can be considered a dive, but the Korean owners were really friendly and nice. I ordered a Cheese Burger and made it a combo with fries and a pop for around $6.

It was a decent size burger with lettuce, tomato and onions. The burger was quite tasty with nicely melted American cheese and warm buns. The patty was cooked well done but not dry. The fries however needed a bit more frying time. They were still quite oily and soft.

My friend ordered the Chicken Avocado burger. It was made with real chicken breast with sliced avocado and honey mustard. It also quite tasty and the ingredients were fresh.

I don’t think I’d drive out to New Westminister specifically for this place, but I would come back if I am in the area and not wanting tacos. If you are in the area, this is a good place to get a quick bite for cheap.
