On the second day of our Portland trip, we had a very nice breakfast at Bijou Cafe.
I think they are famous for their Roast beef hash, but I absolutely loved their Oyster omelette.
The oyster omelette was by far the best seafood omelete I’ve ever had. The omelette was filled with breaded and fried oysters that were super fresh. It was mixed with salty bacon and sweet caramelized onions. The egg to oysters, bacon and onion ratio was perfect. I didn’t get sick of the egg like I’d normally would with omelettes, in fact, I demolished this quite happily.
The roast beef hash had a generous amount of meat, some were nice and juicy, and there were some dry ends as well. My friends enjoyed this a lot, but if I ever come back, I’d still order the oyster omelette.
Great place for breakfast, not to be missed in Portland.
