Beaver Tails, Lonsdale Quay
Every time I have Beaver Tails, it’s ether at Grouse Mountain or in Whistler. It’s one of my favorite grubs after snowboarding, and one of those things I only eat when I go snowboarding because it’s pretty much the only places that has them.
A few weeks ago I found out that they have a Lonsdale Quay location, so I decided to go check it out after a day at Cypress Mountain.
The franchise had the same basic sweet beaver tails including my favorites Chocolate hazelnut and Cinnamon sugar. The chocolate hazelnut is pretty much nutella. The deep fried pastry is consistant with other locations, crispy center, and doughy around the edges.
The savory beaver tails were a bit different here. Instead of having my favorite Pizza beaver tail, they had a BC beaver tail, with smoked salmon, capers and cream cheese.
I always associate beaver tails with snowboarding. Now this Lonsdale Quay location makes it a convenient location to visit during the summer!
