8 oz. Burger Bar

A couple weekends ago we stopped by 8 oz Burger Bar‘s happy hour to get some drinks and snacks. The happy hour has a $2, $4 $6, $8 menu. Everything from $2 garlic fries, rainer beer, to $8 burger & fries combo.

From the happy hour menu, we ordered garlic fries, plate’o bacon, and a classic cheese burger & fries combo. The most awesome happy hour for me was obviously the burger. The whole burger was juicy and super yummy with the classic fixing like lettuce, tomato, and thousand island dressing. The combo came with a big bucket of crispy fries, for $8 it was a good deal.

My second favorite from the happy hour was the garlic fries. For $2 it was same size bucket as the fries from the burger combo. We ordered 2 of these, and ended up taking the second one home. The fresh garlic on top of the fries were absolutely awesome.

We also ordered a couple items from the regular menu included the pickle plate, truffled potato skins and onion rings. I could probably eat the whole plate of truffled potato skins not because I’m a sucker for truffle oil, but because they were just simply delicious. The IPA battered onion rings were pretty awesome as well.

The food was great, and the service was very friendly. I look forward to come back to this place in the future.
