Jamie Oliver’s Wonky Summer Pasta


It’s another 30 minute meals night! This time we made Wonky Summer Pasta, with Herby Salad and Pear drop tartlets.

This meal only took us 40 minutes to make! It’s probably because there was barely any cooking. It was a super easy meal to make, including the dessert. My favorite was the salad with crispy bacon.

I was in charge of making the Pear drop tarts, and made the newb mistake of not baking my frozen tart shells first. The tarts came out uncooked, I ended up scrapping out the pear, jam, meringue and ate them with ice cream, still pretty good.

  • parmesan cheese
  • lemon zest and juice
  • lasagne sheets
Salad
  • pancetta
  • garlic
  • fennel seeds
  • mint, tarragon
  • red and green grapes
  • balsamic vinegar
  • lemon
Tartlets
  • pie shells
  • raspberry jam
  • lemon thyme
  • can pear
  • sugar
  • vanilla paste or extract
  • vanilla ice cream
  • egg whites
