Carpe Diem, Madrid

A friend and I decided to go to Madrid for a day, and it has a very different feel from Barcelona. Most of the site seeing is fairly close together so a speed trip through the city can definitely be done. After some site seeing we were really hot, and hungry. So we walked through […]

Can Borbo, Barcelona

After a day at the Barceloneta Beach. We got really hungry, so we walked along the pier and choose this place. It was kind of busy, and they had  fairly low prices.

Shiraz Grill, Langley

This was an awesome find from my friend who visited this place for Father’s Day a few weeks ago. He promised to bring me there, and I’m glad he did. Shiraz Grill is an Italian and Iranian restaurant serving delicious kebabs, and pastas in the heart of downtown Langley.

L’Arros Arrosseria, Barcelona

My meal at L’Arros Arroseria was by far my favourite meal in Barcelona. And it we chose this restaurant completely out of luck.

Ardevol, Barcelona

In our first morning in Barcelona we visited La Sagrada Familia Basilica which took about an hour and a half. I was very hungry after, so we went across the street and just picked anywhere that we could get some Spanish food.

Rockford Grill, Langley

For my mom and brothers birthday we chose Rockford Grill in Langley. Rockford Grill has a few locations around the lower mainland, and they offer kind of an American take on Asian/Chinese food.

Goodness Juice Bar & Fresh Food, Tucson, Arizona

Eating out 24/7 could get a bit heavy. I was glad to find Goodness Juice Bar & Fresh Foods for some healthier breakfast choices. There’s lots of smoothies, wraps, and juices. But I was in a mood for some granola. There are 2 granola bowls here, and I picked the Cacao Warrior. This freshly made […]

HUB Restaurant & Creamery, Tucson, Arizona

While my friend was stuck in a day long conference in Tucson, I had a rather relaxing day hanging by the pool. Since her conference ends at 8, we needed a restaurant that opens late night. A quick search on the web, we found Hub Restaurant & Creamery. To my surprise, we ordered quite a […]

El Guero Canelo, Tucson, Arizona

Last day in Tucson, I visited San Xavier Del Bac, El Guero Canelo was just a short 10 minute drive from it. There was an order window and a pick up window, plenty of seats in a covered area. My lunch was the Sonoran hot dog with everything. This hot dog has loads of toppings. […]

Jamie’s Italian, Gatwick Airport, London

Being in London for 3 days, I was a bit sad I didn’t get to go to any Jamie Oliver or Gordon Ramsay restaurants. Luckily, before our flight to Barcelona, there were a few Jamie Oliver restaurants at Gatwick Airport.

Prep & Pastry, Tucson, Arizona

First morning in Tucson I was at Prep & Pastry bright and early for some tasty breakfast.  This restaurant/bakery has a very clean and simple atmosphere, has a very hipster feel like restaurants you’d find in cities like..Portland. We started the breakfast with a couple pastries. First one we tried was the doughssant or frissant, or […]

Patisserie Valerie, London

We needed a place to have brunch before heading to the airport, so we kind of just randomly chose Patisserie Valerie near the Victoria train station.
