I know, it’s stupid late and I’m not feeling well but I had to wake myself up and quickly jot this down before I forgot to do it.
Dinner today was a bit of a bust, I didn’t have much of an appetite all day so I didn’t each much. 830pm rolls around and the hunger pangs finally hit me but I was too tired and lazy to get up and make something. Instead I threw on some warm clothes and walked a few blocks from my apartment to Subway to grab a Chicken Breast sandwhich. Originally, I was headed to Wendy’s to grab something until I remembered that fast food burgers are on the whole, unsatisfying.. do they really “know when it’s real?”
So, bypassing the Wendy’s altogether, I wound up a minute away at the Subway only to order my sandwich with the claimed 520cal health-price (foot long madness) for eating fast food. Just as the guy punches it in, I realize I’m a total failure and forgot my wallet. I spent another 7 minutes walking back to my apartment, grabbed my monies, trekked another 7 back to Subway, and finally a last 7 minute home stretch back home. The total ordeal was about 30 min, required multiple trips to and from Subway passing a bus stop where people stared at me like I was on drugs or had some obsessive, compulsive walking disorder.
Lessons learned:
- Always check for your wallet
- Don’t be lazy, it’s embarrassing
- Subway is really close if you’re not an idiot
Turkey Breast foot long sandwich: nothing specia, but it didn’t suck, thus, 2.5/5. So beisty.
Beisty - Synonymous with embarrassing or being an embarrassment.
