I had a feeling drinking my last shake at 9:30PM would cause something weird. I actually gained 0.5 pounds in the day. I ate a bit more fruits and vegetables than on Tuesday, and also didn’t have time to workout, so I guess that could’ve caused the extra gain. I was hungry in the morning, but I typically do get hungrier earlier in the day when I eat something late at night. That being said though, the hunger went away, and I didn’t have my first shake until 10 in the morning.
My snacks got pushed even further. I need to fix this. First bar at 12PM, and had some extra vegetables around that time too. I’d normally be having my shake this time, and I guess I’ll force it on myself soon even though I’m not hungry.
Had my second shake at 2PM, and finished off my vegetables and had a banana. Not even hungry, just making sure I consume all that I’m supposed to. I had my second bar at 330PM. So glad to be almost done.
I’m not going crazy or being an asshole, like my coworkers think I would be given the food I’m eating. They think they’d be total bitches if they were doing what I’m doing. My energy level is pretty good. I’m not caught dozing off, but then again I’m also busier than normal.
If there’s one benefit of this cleanse, is that it’s gotten me to eat fruits and vegetables a lot more, especially fresh ones. I could go days on just meat and rice or carbs. If there wasn’t any vegetables mixed into my food, I’d hardly eat it. Fruits are few and far between typically. So I hope I continue eating fresh fruits. Raw bananas used to make my throat itch a little, but during this cleanse I’ve been able to eat it. Raw apples too, but I have yet to test it. Weird thing is, is that when I was a kid, I would eat a lot of apples and bananas. I developed an allergy in the past few years to it. Just raw would bother me, if it was cooked (i.e. apple pies, crumbles, fried bananas), I’d eat it without hesitation.
Worked out my arms. For dinner I smartened up and cooked some mushrooms and red pepper (no oil, no salt, no seasonings). That itself made a difference, and it was really good to have something cooked. This was my first non-cold meal in 4 days. One more day left – 3 shakes, 2 bars, and then I can eat normally again, but healthier as well.
