Dahlia Lounge

We’ve been to quite a few of the Tom Douglas restaurants in Seattle over the past couple years, and have loved each one of them. This time we needed a place to eat for brunch, and Dahlia Lounge was surprisingly available.

Homegrown is an organic breakfast and sandwich spot in Capitol Hill, Seattle. We were here for a quick breakfast before heading out for a drive down to Portland.

I went on a camping trip to Cannon beach last weekend, but before we hit the 4 hour drive, we went for breakfast at Glo’s in Seattle.

I first visited Dahlia Bakery on New Years day this year. I grabbed a breakfast sandwich there, and since then this has been the must stop shop for me when I visit Seattle.

My first brunch of 2011 was at Lola in Seattle. I have heard about Lola long before I finally visited because wheel is a regular customer, and he’d always spam me with food pictures every time he visits.

Macrina Bakery was one of our food stops on our way down to Oregon. We were there to grab our second breakfast. This little bakery was so busy! We got there around 10:30am and there was already a line going from the pick up counter to the door.

What do you call people who only eat organic food? Is there even a term for them? I don’t think I have ever seen the word ‘organic‘ on a menu so many times. Portage Bay Cafe cooks with organic vegetables, organic eggs, organic potatoes, organic pretty much everything. So, organic fiends, you’re in luck in Portage Bay Cafe.
