American food in New York
I didn’t have White Castle on my list of places to eat in New York. I actually completely forgot about it until my friend mentioned it. So, on my last night, I made sure I stopped by White Castle (and Shake Shack) on my way back to my hotel after watching Sleep No More.
My personal “Best Steak I Ever Had” was at Del Frisco’s in Las Vegas. My friend said his was at Peter Luger Steak House in Brooklyn, NY.
Shake Shack is an awesome New York burger joint. All of my friends who have visited love it. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s the best fast food that I’ve had, although waiting almost 15 minutes isn’t very fast. The place is always busy.
I was visiting the Washington Square Arch in Greenwich Village, New York quite early in the morning. My friends and I were looking for a quick breakfast place near by, and we found Bagel Bob’s listed in our trusty Not For Tourists for NY guide book.
Katz’s Deli could be labeled as one of the tourist traps in New York since it is listed in almost every travel guide for New York City. I was a tourist in New York, I love food, I like sandwiches, so it was a no brainer that I’d drop by with my greedy taste buds.
