Cantinetta dei Verrazzano is a place that I would probably be a regular at if I lived in Florence. It’s on a street with 2 other really awesome places to eat are – Ristorante Paoli and a gelato place called Perche No! – I’d definitely call this food street.
After a nice day site seeing the Tuscan Wine Country with CAF Tours, we asked our tour guide where we can get the best Florentine Steak in Florence. Her answer was Ristorante Paoli, and she walked us over to the restaurant in the pouring rain. This was an excellent recommendation, and so were her others.
Upon arriving in Florence from Rome, we were really hungry. We arrived at around 3PM, and found that many of the restaurants were closed. Lorenzo de Medici was one of the few who still had their kitchens open.
