American restaurants in White Rock
My friend and I were heading for a stroll on White Rock beach, and we stopped by the old school diner, Five Corners Cafe for brunch.
One thing you can count on in diners is all day breakfast. My breakfast of choice was the Huevo Breakfast while my friend ordered a Chili Scramble.
I bought a Groupon for Deluxe because I saw that they had paella, which Beipas is always in the mood for. However, we waited again until the deal was almost expired before using it. Deluxe is on the other side of White Rock strip that I usually don’t travel to. Beipas pointed out that Deluxe would make an awesome office because the upstairs is laid out like one, and it has a great view of the water and sunset. The bathroom up there is also massive!
On a friend’s last night in Vancouver for a while, we decided to go to White Rock, but couldn’t decide on a restaurant. Once we got there, we randomly just picked Uli’s. Well it wasn’t that random, as I had 3-4 restaurants that I wanted to try, but wasn’t sure which to pick. Uli’s was right infront of my parking spot. Upon walking in we saw a local newspaper clipping taped to the wall saying Best Burger in town.
The Boathouse is one of the most popular seafood restaurants in British Columbia, with locations in pretty much every city in Metro Vancouver near a body of water. I’ve only been to the White Rock location… about 5 times. Yup, I’m allergic to seafood, so I usually get a steak.
