Dockside Restaurant

A couple of my friends had their big birthday celebration at Dockside Restaurant in Granville Island. It was pretty cool they were able to reserve seats for about 30 people.

One of my good friends recommended that we try Chewies Steam and Oyster Bar if we are into seafood. She mentioned that it is very similar to Rodney’s Oyster House. Since I am already a fan of Rodney’s Oyster House, I was excited to take on this new food adventure.

And the snowboarding season for 2012/2013 finally begins! After our first day of riding at Cypress Mountain, our friend suggested we bring our very hungry selves to have dim sum at Happy Valley Seafood Restaurant.

Once again, we were invited to try out Vaneat.ca‘s new dining package CRAY-VINGS at Cray Kitchen and Bar.
Cray kitchen and bar specializes in Louisiana style seafood, which we don’t have many in Vancouver. The $18.5 dinning package includes 1/2 lb of crawfish, 1/2 lb of shrimp, 3 piece cod nuggets, 2 deep fried oysters and cajun fries.

Cold wintery weather always make me crave for soup. I was hanging out at Granville Island with Kid, shopping for groceries, and food walking. The Stock Market was one of the places we stopped by.

The lobsterman is a seafood market on Granville island. I never knew this place exited until Kid came to town and asked me to bring her here for some fresh seafood.

Happy hour! Monday – Saturday from 3-6pm is Low Tide (Happy Hour) at Rodney’s Oyster House. My friends and I purposely skipped lunch one day just to go try out their Low Tide menu.

I’ve known about Goldfish Pacific Kitchen as it has been in the Taste of Yaletown for the past few years. I finally got to go for my mom’s and brother’s joint birthday dinner. As we arrived we noticed that they had an engagement party completely with bunny ears. Anyway, the restaurant looks really cool and trendy. The decor is really nice, and the restaurant is actually quite big. I think they had an outdoor room in the back with white sofas…or at least it looked open.

I was in Granville Island area this weekend on a beautiful sunny day, my friends and I decided to visit Go Fish Ocean Emporium for some fish n chips. The Go Fish Ocean Emporium is located just off Granville Island, and has made itself quite the popular fish n chips place.
