Restaurants in Langley, BC
It’s always fun to watch the Canucks game on TV with some beer and wings, so a few buddies and I went to the newest Wings location in Langley. We got there early thinking it would be busy, but oddly it wasn’t at all. Maybe it’s only busy during the playoffs..
After some snowboard shopping at Coastal Riders on New Year’s Eve, we decided to eat close by at Sushi Avenue in Langley.
Going out for dim sum two days in a row is a lot for me. Before this weekend, I didn’t go to dimsum for probably a year. I am allergic to most seafood after all, and have a hard time picking out what I can eat as many dishes have pieces of shrimp in everything.
One of our guest bloggers Kid was visiting us from California, and one of our many food adventures was at Estrella’s Montreal Deli in Langley.
For our lunch, we split a large Montreal smoked meat sandwich called ‘The Montreal‘, a smoked meat chili, and a grilled cheese sandwich with a side of home made sauerkraut.
Agave Grill is a Mexican restaurant just off 200th Street in Langley. Actually, this was another second choice because we wanted to try Aaron’s Pizza, but they had a closed event that night. The restaurant was pretty empty besides two tables the time we went, but still we had to wait 5 minutes for them to clean off a table. One of my friends actually doesn’t like Mexican food much because it always seems the same.
Boonie’s Southern Soul lies in a Quality Inn in Langley on 200th St and 64 Ave. Beipas and I have been looking around for some comfort food, but the other place we knew about isn’t a restaurant anymore.When we entered the restaurant and even after being seated, I noticed some of the patrons staring at us. I felt a bit uncomfortable. Aside from that there was a long wait, and it took about 10 minutes to get a menu.
Dee and I went out on a trip out to Pasta Polo in Langley to get some dinner last weekend. First time at Pasta Polo I noticed how busy it was. The restaurant was filled, and there were people waiting. We didn’t mind sitting at a table near the door, so we got our seats right away.
Last week I was reading Dee’s Review for Coza Tuscan Grill. He had such a good time there, I asked him to take me there too. Unfortunately, I didn’t have such a great experience as he did.
Coza! Tuscan Grill is an Italian restaurant in Langley where all the other Chain restaurants are. It kind of has a chain feel to it, from the logo, and size of the place, but there is only one Coza! It is however part of the Montana, Kelsey’s, Swiss Chalet family. This place is way better than Olive Garden. Once I saw the menu online I was in love. So many good looking and sounding appetizers and dishes!
