Pho Hong

I first visited Pho Hong a few years back, and always remembered this restaurant as the spring rolls pho joint because they had really good spring rolls and adding an order of spring rolls to a large pho is like the thing to do here.

Cold rainy weathers always calls for pho, so I had one of those late afternoon lunches at Pho Century on Kingsway.
This pho restaurant seemed really new, they probably just opened within a few months. And unlike the ‘regular’ pho joints, this place’s decoration is considered a bit on the fancy side.

Pho Hoa is a Vietnamese restaurant that I typically stay away from. It’s a franchise with tons of locations around North America. I’ve even seen one in LA, and I’m pretty sure there are lots of other locations. Anyways, their Pho isn’t nearly the best. The only thing they have going for them is that they are open late. I haven’t been to a Pho Hoa for a good couple of years now.

Green Bamboo is a small little Vietnamese restaurant on the outside of Crystal Mall on Willingdon. It’s a really small place with just a few tables. Being that me and my brother were sick, we both ordered a bowl of pho, and some lemon grass chicken wings.
